Daníel Perez Eðvarðsson
I am a creative person with a great passion for creating a better world. An experienced traveller having lived abroad in Norway, Panama and Belgium. Always keen to explore new territories, both far away and nearby neighbourhoods.
Photography, cinema, philosophy, spiritual matters and social sciences are my speciality having studied Social Sciences in high school which lead me to photography. I dedicated all my time and effort in developing my artistic skill in the medium of photography which brought me into the Icelandic Academy of Arts where I graduated in Fine Arts. In the Fine Arts programme I explored many mediums such as performance, book making and publishing, cinema, curating and poetry which all dealt with photography in one way or another. I realized that I have this passion for combining my artistic work into research and presentations by teaching and educating. Society is of a great interest to me and I am constantly seeing the world anew every day.
Born and raised in the capital city of Iceland, Reykjavík. Having dual nationality with an Icelandic mother artist and teacher and a Spanish father chef. Step father art teacher.
